Waratah Resources ships first coal from Indonesia

Waratah Resources’ Commodities Trading Division and its Indonesian partners have completed loading and dispatch of their first cargo of coal from South Kalimantan, Indonesia. According to a company statement, the cargo comprised 50,000 t of thermal coal and is bound for Shanghai, China.
“The shipment represents first confirmation of the company’s strengthening commercial relationships with Indonesian partners, Indonesian coal producers and end users throughout Asia,” the statement said. “Potential further customer relationships are also being developed in Taiwan, India and South Korea.”
