The Bulk Group of Dearborn Mid-West Conveyor Co. has been sold to Bedeschi S.P.A of Padua, Italy. The group provides turnkey bulk material handling systems for utility, mining, cement, fertiliser, refinery and marine terminal markets.
The Bulk Group, founded in 1947, will be renamed Bedeschi Mid-West Conveyor LLC (BMWC) and has operations in Lenexa and Kansas. Here, it designs, manufactures and installs complex material handling systems, including pipe conveyors and rotary plows.
Rino Bedeschi, Managing Director of the Bedeschi Group commented: “we are excited about BMWCbecoming part of the Bedeschi team. We are an industrial group based in Italy and specialise in bulk material handling and marine logistics. Having been in business for 107 years, we are sure the merger will serve our clients with a wider range of products and services with broader organisational capabilities for future domestic and international projects.”
