JSW Energy and GRM Resources join globalCOAL

JSW Energy and GRM Resources are the latest two market members to join globalCOAL’s online coal trading platform.

JSW Energy Ltd

JSW Energy Ltd is one of India’s premier integrated power companies, with an involvement in power generation, transmission, mining, power plant equipment manufacturing and trading. It produces 3140 MW of power annually, with capacity for another 8630 MW under development. JSW Energy is part of the JSW Group, one of India’s largest business conglomerates with investments in steel, minerals, aluminium, mining, infrastructure, logistics, cement and information technology.

GRM Resources

Singapore-based GRM Resources built its reputation in the trade of raw materials for the steel industry, primarily coking coal and metallurgical coke, before expanding into thermal coal. The company has invested in mining opportunities in Africa, Australia, Canada and Indonesia, and GRM Group companies in India are involved in the manufacture of low ash metallurgical coke and pig iron, as well as power generation.
