Pacific American Coal appoints Mark Lochtenberg as Managing Director to push forward development of the company’s flagship hard coking coal project, Elko, in British Columbia, Canada.

Following a General Meeting, a change to the company name has been approved.

Federal officials have approved a mining plan for operations to continue at Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association’s Colowyo Mine in northwest Colorado.

The results from a preliminary coal quality analysis indicate that Debienkso hosts a range of premium quality hard metallurgical coals comparable to internationally traded benchmark coking coals.
