According to the US Energy Information Administration, the share of US electricity fuelled by coal is expected to slowly begin growing when compared to the same period last year.

New Colombia Resources Inc. has entered into a joint venture to build out metallurgical coal Concession Contract JC3-15231 located in Cucuta, Colombia.

Sales revenues from coal were up on the previous quarter as the company benefitted from higher coal prices for its Indonesian and Australian coal.
