The Cline Group has appointed James O. Bunn II as the new Vice President of Operations for Cline affiliate, Cutlass Collieries LLC.
Paul Vining, Chief Executive Officer of the Cline Group commented: "Jim has a strong proven track record of mine development and operations in the USA. His inclusive management approach and focus on employee safety and community relationships will serve the Donkin project well as the Cline Group moves towards commercial start up of the Donkin mine in 2016."
Bunn will report directly to Vining and is responsible for operations at the Donkin Project in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and other international projects.
Bunn stated: "I represent the fourth generation of my family in the coal business and am grateful for the opportunity to join Cutlass."
Bunn has 20 years of experience in the coal sector working in sales, management, operations and joint ventures. Prior to this appointment, he served as Managing Member of Coal River Energy of Alum Creek, West Virginia.
