Mitsui to send monetary aid for relief work after Hokkaido Eastern Iburi earthquake

Mitsui & Co., Ltd. (Mitsui) has announced its intention to make a 10 000 000 Japanese yen cash donation to aid relief efforts for the areas devastated by the Hokkaido Eastern Iburi earthquake, which occurred on 6 September 2018.

Mitsui & Co is a Japanese trading company that has made a number of coal investments. The company currently holds a 20% stake in the Kestrel coking coal mine in Australia.
