New Minerals Division Managing Director for The Weir Group

The Weir Group PLC, a leading engineering business, has appointed Ricardo Garib to its Group Executive as Divisional Managing Director of the Weir Minerals Division.
Ricardo will succeed Dean Jenkins, who is set to join the Board as Chief Operating Officer. This will be in effect from 1 January 2016.
Ricardo is a graduate mechanical engineer, Vice President of the Association of Industrial Mining Suppliers and an elected Counsellor for the Board of the Chilean Federation of Industry. He was previously Managing Director of Weir Minerals in Chile and then led operations in Latin America since 2001.
