SUEK announces 4% increase in coal production

SUEK produced 55.6 million t of coal in 1H18, representing a 4% increase over 1H17.
Sales volume in January - June increased by 12% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 59.9 million t of coal and other bulk goods.
SUEK’s international sales reached 28.6 million t of coal and other bulk goods for the first six months of the year, representing a 6% growth year on year. The core directions of international sales were South Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Turkey, Vietnam, Spain and Morocco.
Domestic sales growth was 18% y/y to 31.3 million t of coal, 25.8 million t of which were shipped to power generating companies.
