American Electric Power seeks coal bids

World Coal,
American Electric Power has issued a request for proposal (RFP) for the supply of coal to one or more of its generating stations in multiple coal regions.
AEP seeks proposals for the following coal type, delivery years and tonnages:
- Central Appalachian/Colorado type; 200 000 t in 3Q10 - 4Q19; 2 million t in 2020; 1 million t in 2021.
- Powder River Basin type; 3 million t in 3Q10 - 4Q19; 2 million t in 2020.
- Illinois Basin type; 150 000 t in 3Q10 - 4Q19; 100 000 t in 2020 (1Q20 only).
- Northern Appalachian Basin type; 200 000 t in 3Q10 - 4Q19; 1.5 million t in 2020; 1 million t in 2021.
All coal proposal packages should include the provided coal proposal form. This information must be received no later than 5 p.m., Monday 18 March 2019. Proposals must remain open for acceptance until 5 p.m., Friday 22 March 2019.
