Solid Energy CEO steps down
Dr Don Elder, CEO of Solid Energy, has announced his resignation from the company.
Elder has served as CEO of Solid Energy, the largest coal mining company in New Zealand, since May 2000. A press release from the company states that Elder will be resigning as CEO with immediate effect, but will remain available to work for Solid Energy during its transition period.
Garry Diack, formerly Solid Energy’s group manager for organisational development and performance, will serve as interim CEO until a new appointment is made.Written by Lauren Bryant.
