The Federal Court of Australia has appointed a provisional liquidator to Continental Coal.

Trading in shares of New World Resources has been suspended after its subsidiary, OKD, filed for insolvency.

Glencore has reported coal production was down 5.9 million t for 1Q16.

The Board of OKD has met and decided to file an insolvency petition, which has been filed with the Czech court.
