Shropshire Council oppose Dart’s CBM plans again
According to online news outlet ‘Drill or Drop?’, Conservatives on Shropshire Council have for a second time opposed a planning application for coal bed methane exploration near Ellesmere.
The Conservative-led planning committee voted confirmed that they had voted against Dart Energy’s proposal for an exploratory well at Dudleston earlier this week. Eight councilors voted that they would like to reduce the application, one abstained.
The actual decision will be made by at a later date by a planning inspector because Dart has already lodged an appeal against the verdict.
