Carbon Energy reaches coal gasification milestone
Carbon Energy has successfully completed its first two engineering work packages for the Inner Mongolia underground coal gasification (UCG) project being developed by a Haoquin Mining joint venture.

The project represents the first ever commercialisation of the company's keyseam UCG technology.
The project is now ready to start the delivery of the staged deliverables for package 3 and is now awaiting the payment of its invoice. Stage 3 will include the construction and operation of a commercial scale production facility producing at least 30 peta joules of syngas per year.
