Tlou Energy’s coalbed methane project increases gas flow
Coalbed methane (CBM) producer, Tlou Energy, has received a confidence boost this week, as testing confirms gas flow continues to increase at its Botswana CBM projects.
Gas flow at Tlou Energy’s Botswana CBM project at Selemo 1 P has been steadily increasing since production at the pilot pod first began in September this year.
The flow test results to date suggest that commercial development of the CBM project is possible and achievable. The company reported that gas testing is currently in progress at Mopani 2P with Lesedi 1P and 2P continuing to dewater.
Should results at Tlou’s other CBM projects follow the same suit as the Selemo pilot pod, the potential for good returns on the company’s CBM investment becomes ever more likely.
Tlou Energy is an ASX-listed CBM and natural gas explorer with operations in Botswana and Zimbabwe.
