Programme released for CAC conference

The Coal Association of Canada (CAC) has released the programme for its annual conference.
The keynote session this year will focus on the theme “Rising to the Challenges” with presentations from Alpha Natural Resources, SaskPower and Deutsche Bank. Following this, session two will look at “After the winter in the post-2014 market: who prospers who wilts” with discussions of the Canadian, Australia and the US coal markets, as well as steel market supply and demand.
Day two will focus more on Canada with an update from the CAC and production updates from Anglo American and Westmoreland Coal Co. There will also be a more focused discussion of the global steel industry with speakers from Kobe Steel, Xcoal Energy & Resources and Teck Resources.
World Coal is a partner sponsor of the conference, which takes place 10 – 12 September in Vancouver.
