Far East Energy announces extension of loan facility

Far East Energy Corporation, the US listed company that operates the Shouyang Coalbed Methane (CBM) Production Sharing Contract (PSC) in Shanxi Province, People’s Republic of China, has announced the extension of the maturity date of its existing Facility Agreement with Standard Chartered Bank (SCB).

The maturity date of the Facility Agreement with SCB has been extended to 31 March 2015, from the previous maturity date of 13 February 2015.

CFO Jennifer Whitley commented: “We remain mindful of the company’s shareholders and all of its various stakeholders during the company’s negotiation processes with various third parties”.

Far East Energy Corporation (FEEC) will continue to advise its shareholders at appropriate times, and with appropriate details, as developments progress.
