IRPT is a trade association for US inland waterway, port and terminal professionals. Our goal is to provide a platform for inland river port and terminal professionals to improve their businesses and to inform policy makers on the needs and economic impacts of our industry. The mission of IRPT is to be a resource for inland river ports, terminals and riverborne transportation services and to promote the value of the inland river transportation system to users and policymakers.
Over the three-day event, the IRPT conference will draw in about 200 professionals from around the US. We will address commodities shipped on the river system, legislative issues, river management services, education and grant opportunities.
I look forward to seeing all of you at our exciting conference at the Kansas City Convention Center where we trust your company will reap great rewards and find your association with IRPT a profitable and beneficial experience.
