Major software update for FMS platform

Hexagon Mining has released a major update for the Leica Jigsaw fleet management software platform. This is anticipated to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
Continuous demands of increased efficiency and productivity have led Hexagon to keep updating its versions to increase productivity and ensure accurate data capture.
Product releases with this update include Jasset, J2dragline, and Jsurfaceminer. Jasset enables monitoring mobile and semi-mobile assets with seamless integration into an existing network. From supervisor vehicles to communications trailers, and even generators, now tracking the location and important operational parameters of these assets through Jmineops is available.
J2dragline, Hexagon’s fourth generation dragline monitoring system, incorporates navigation, production, and safety features, and is fully integrated with Jmineops office software. J2dragline is the company’s most advanced release, which enables sites to fully utilise their biggest machines.
Jsurfaceminer optimises productivity and safety through visualisations and instantaneous feedback to surface miner operators. Integrating with the Leica Jigsaw platform, Jsurfaceminer will further enhance the variety of machine types supported to maximise productivity across a fleet.
An auto zero hole improvement to J2drill saves time by allowing the drill operator to commence drilling without interacting with the J2drill user interface. Instead, the J2drill now automatically zeroes in when the bit is lowered to the ground. Upgrades to other modules, including Joptimizer, J2dozer, J2shovel, and Jtruck are also included.
Hexagon Mining expresses it is committed to maximising the safety of all mine personnel. Improvements to Jmineops provide operators with additional indicators of road conditions and speed limits to make driving safer. Jsuper can now be configured so the supervisor sees all over-speed messages from vehicles in real time.
